ALONG THE APENNINE MOUNTAINS

Known as the Appennini in Italian, this mountain range extends to a length of 1,200 km along the Italian peninsula.

As the car sped through the curve, I snapped this photo and immediately fell and rolled on and on after shooting. It still remains my favourite shot of a mountain peak. Its probably the closest I may have been to an elevation of 9,554 ft or 2,912m, equivalent to 882 storeys (on a car, of course 😁).
